Love of Homeland in Musical Notes
“With his rich and powerful voice, Turkish bass baritone Burak Bilgili ignited comedy with his old, pale-faced, bespectacled Don Pasquale character. His learned Italian words, with a resounding expression of articulation and character, with his voice radiating with a great and deep resonance, deftly portrayed a self-styled old man who decided to buy a young bride. Despite all his creepy and lecherous ways, Bilgili made you feel sympathy for this character.” Ft Worth 2018 Don Pasquale
