First Guest of Museum Lounge: Woman
Museum Lounge, the brand new multi-purpose historical venue of argos in Cappadocia that has recently been brought to light will host its first guest. An expert in history of Anatolia, Ali Canip Olgunlu will be delivering a special session on ‘women’ in the ancient civilizations in Anatolia.
In Anatolia, the cradle of civilizations, ‘woman’ had been a sacred notion for centuries. From the ‘moon goddess’ in the sky to Kybele on earth, woman was the symbol of fertility, nurturing, kindliness and mercy. Writer and professional guide Olgunlu who, following his studies on Turkology has taken introducing the ancient culture of Anatolia to masses as a mission with his books and culture tours, will be in a special historical venue, Museum Lounge for his talk on the concept of woman in Anatolia.
